Chasing 151, the six-time champions reached the target in just 17.1 overs, securing a record-extending seventh Women’s T20 World Cup title. Mooney and Litchfield added a match-winning 100-run partnership that broke England’s resistance.
Earlier, Nat Sciver-Brunt remained unbeaten on 58, while Freya Kemp made 44 not out to help England post 150/4, but Australia’s dominant batting proved too strong in the final.
