Ayodhya : Now Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri Maharaj has issued a letter giving clarification in the Ram Mandir Theft Case. He said that he is hurt, sad and ashamed by the theft incident. He said that I did not take even a single rupee from the Trust for my stay. Govind Dev Giri said that the expenses were done directly through the bank, I used to stay out for Katha, my residence is in Pune, I used to come to Ayodhya only once in a month and a half.

Police interrogated 5 accused of donation theft
Meanwhile, Ayodhya Police today interrogated the five accused of theft of Ram Mandir donation, Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Ramshankar Yadav alias Tinnu, Karunesh Pandey and Manish Yadav for about 5 hours. From all these accused, the police got important information about many properties made with the stolen money. After today’s interrogation, the police will investigate all the properties of these accused made with the stolen money.

Ayodhya CO Ashutosh Tiwari, who is investigating the case, had filed an application for questioning in the court of Special Judge Rajat Verma of Prevention of Corruption Act. Earlier, the police had interrogated Avinash in jail and then also took his police custody. If necessary, after today’s interrogation, they can be taken into police custody one by one.
