Star Singer: Theertha's performance leaves singer Sreenivas saying 'OMG'

Star Singer contestants are leaving no stone unturned in the Road to Finale round, as each performance is making every head turn. Without exception, contestant Theertha has also left everyone stunned with her recent performance.
In the recent episode, Theertha, who is known for bringing a variety of genres to the show, picked the challenging semi-classical number 'Parthasarathim Bhavaye' from the film 'Kudumbasametham'. Undoubtedly, she left the entire stage in shock with her mesmerising rendition. Soon after the performance, judges Sreenivas , Sithara Krishnakumar and Vidhu Prathap gave a standing ovation to the talented singer.
"What a dynamic performance. Oh my God! What are you, Theertha? This is your strength. You sang it with such authority. You are a brilliant singer," celebrity judge Sreenivas said.
Judge and singer Sithara also lauded Theertha's control over her voice.
"This is such a difficult song. Only people with great control over their own voice can take it up well. Too good," she said.
While sharing their experiences from the grooming session, mentor Sadhika said that their biggest challenge was attempting a song originally sung by a male singer, none other than K. J. Yesudas.
Though there was a bit of suspense, the judges awarded Theertha the Golden Star and a perfect score of 100 marks for her stunning performance.
Theertha is one of the most-loved contestants on the show. The singer has been hailed for bringing different genres and singing styles to the stage.
Star Singer currently progresses with the Road to Finale round. The show currently has eight singers competing for the grand prize of Rs 50 lakhs.
