In such difficult times, the Rajasthan government's 'Mukhyamantri Krishak Sathi Yojana' has emerged as a vital support system for farmers and farm laborers. The scheme aims to provide financial security to those involved in agriculture following an accident, offering relief to the family during trying times. Farmers, sharecroppers, and farm laborers are all eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.

How much financial assistance is provided?

Under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Sathi Yojana, farmers and farm laborers receive financial assistance of up to a maximum of ₹2 lakh in the event of an accident while working in the fields. Additionally, financial aid ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000 is available in cases of disability or injury.

Individuals who have met with an accident while performing agricultural work are eligible to apply for this scheme. Applications can be submitted at the nearest e-Mitra center.

Documents required for application

Certain documents must be prepared before applying for the scheme. These include the accident FIR or daily diary entry (Roznamcha), medical certificate, Jan-Aadhaar card, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and land-related documents. Once the documents are ready, the applicant can visit their nearest e-Mitra center to initiate the application process for the Mukhyamantri Krishak Sathi Yojana.

How to apply at an e-Mitra center

First, visit your nearest e-Mitra center and apply for the Mukhyamantri Krishak Sathi Yojana. The application form must include full details regarding the accident—such as incidents involving bites from venomous creatures, machinery-related accidents, or falls from trees.

Subsequently, all necessary documents must be scanned and uploaded. Be sure to obtain a receipt after submitting the application. It is crucial to note that the application must be filed within the stipulated timeframe following the accident; while the standard deadline is usually 60 days, some cases require submission within 15 days.
