What to do if your mobile gets wet in the rain?
1. Switch off the phone immediately-

If your phone gets wet, switch it off immediately without wasting a second. If the phone is already switched off, do not make the mistake of switching it on. Actually, there is a risk of short circuit inside the phone due to water.

2. Do not make the mistake of putting it in charging-

Many people immediately connect the phone to the charger to see whether it is working or not. This may prove to be your biggest mistake. Putting a wet phone on charging can cause it to explode or short circuit immediately and your phone can become complete junk.

3. Take out the SIM card and memory card – After turning off the phone, immediately take out the SIM tray. Remove the SIM card and memory card and keep them aside. If your phone’s battery is drained, take it out as well. By doing this the air will go inside and the water will dry quickly.

4. Wipe with dry cloth-
Now take a clean, dry cotton cloth or tissue paper and thoroughly wipe the screen, back panel and all the corners of the phone. Keep in mind that the phone should not be shaken too much, otherwise water from outside may go inside the phone.

Tips: Never use a hair dryer to dry the water on the phone. The hot air from the dryer can melt the plastic parts and screen inside the phone. Also, instead of drying the water, the air from the dryer pushes it deeper into the phone.
