New Delhi. The monsoon session of Parliament will run from 20 July to 13 August. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju gave this information on Saturday. Rijiju posted on ‘X’ that on the recommendation of the government, President Draupadi Murmu has approved convening of both the sessions of Parliament for the monsoon session 2026. He said, “This session will start from July 20 and continue till August 13 for meaningful debate, discussion and decisions on issues of national importance.”

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister said, “On the recommendation of the government, President Draupadi Murmu has approved convening of the monsoon session of both the Houses of Parliament. This session will begin from July 20 and will continue till August 13, in which meaningful debate, discussion and decisions will be taken on issues of national importance.” There are likely to be 19 meetings during this session which will last for about four weeks.
