New facility to update Aadhaar card

Are you fed up of standing in queues for hours at Aadhar Seva Centers to update your Aadhar Card? Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a great and free service through its new mobile app.

Now you can add or change your email address in Aadhaar using your smartphone right from your home. This facility is available for Aadhaar users from July 1, 2026 and can be used only for 6 months without any charges.
