The cinematic universe is abuzz with excitement as Alphaone of the year’s most eagerly awaited films, graces the big screen today. If the electrifying teasers weren’t enough, the film’s surprising cameos are guaranteed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

While the hype largely centered around a brief yet thrilling appearance by the dashing Hrithik Roshan, there’s another surprise in store. The ever-graceful Dia Mirza makes an unexpected yet pivotal entrance, her involvement kept tightly under wraps until now.

A Dazzling Guest Appearance

Dia Mirza’s secretive yet significant role clocks in at around 10 captivating minutes, billed as a ‘Guest Appearance’ in the opening credits. Her presence adds a touch of intrigue to Alphaalongside the powerhouse duo Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, who lead the narrative with their stellar performances. The film also stars the legendary Anil Kapoor in a supportive role, with Bobby Deol stepping into the shoes of the antagonist.

Directed by the talented Shiv Rawail, this high-octane action thriller is a proud production of Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films.

Adding to a Legendary Spy Saga

Alpha marks the seventh installment in the illustrious YRF Spy Cinematic Universea saga that began with the adrenaline-pumping One That Tiger (2012) and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The universe further expanded with War (2019), showcasing Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff under the direction of Siddharth Anand.

Continuing the legacy, Anand also directed Pathan (2023), starring the iconic Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, where Salman Khan made a memorable cameo as Tiger. This crossover marked a first for the universe and paved the way for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan character to make a special appearance in Tiger 3 (2023).
