JSW MG Windsor EV Price Hike July 2026 Up To Rs 60,000

With over  ,JSW MG’s electric cars continue to power the brand’s growth story in India. MG’s EV portfolio includes the Windsor EV, Comet EV, ZS EV, Cyberster and M9. Among these, the primary volume generator is the Windsor EV. In May 2026, Windsor was ranked the fourth bestselling electric car in the country. In the latest development, MG has increased prices of Windsor EV by up to Rs 60,000.

Windsor EV new prices – July 2026

It is likely that prices of Windsor EV have been increased due to rise in production costs. Various other carmakers including   and   have increased prices in July 2026. MG has increased prices of the Windsor EV in the range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000. In percentage terms, the price hike for Windsor EV in July 2026 is in the range of 2.15% to 4.26%.

MG Windsor EV is available in five variants, all of which have become costlier. The Excite base variant has witnessed the highest price hike of Rs 60,000. As compared to the earlier price of Rs 14.10 lakh, the new price is Rs 14.70 lakh. That’s an increase of 4.26%. Next is the Exclusive variant, which will now cost Rs 46,900 more. Its new price is Rs 16 lakh, an increase of 3.02%. Windsor EV Essence variant also sees a price hike of Rs 46,900. Its new price is Rs 17 lakh, an increase of 2.84% over its earlier price. Moving up, the Exclusive Pro variant is now available at Rs 17.90 lakh. Price has been increased by Rs 52,000, which is a 2.99% hike in comparison to the earlier price. Windsor EV Essence Pro top variant will now cost Rs 40,000 more, an increase of 2.15%. Its new price is Rs 19 lakh.

MG Windsor EV Excite, Exclusive and Essence variants are equipped with a 38 kWh battery pack. In comparison, the Exclusive Pro and Essence Pro utilize a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack. Performance numbers are the same for all variants at 136 PS and 200 Nm. The difference is in the range, with 332 km for the smaller battery pack variants. Windsor Pro variants have a higher range of 449 km. Variants with the smaller battery pack support fast charging of up to 45 kW. In comparison, the Pro variants support higher fast charging of up to 60 kW. When using a fast charger, 20-80% charge can be achieved for the smaller battery pack in around 45 minutes. The larger battery pack takes around 50 minutes. Dimensionally, all variants are largely the same. There’s only a slight difference in boot space for the larger battery pack variants. MG Windsor EV offers a comprehensive range of premium features. Key highlights include a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, glass roof, Vehicle to Load (V2L), Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) charging, 9 Speaker Audio System by Infinity, ventilated seats and 80+ i-Smart connected features. Safety kit is pretty robust and includes 6 airbags, 360 degree camera and autonomous Level 2 ADAS.
