The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the official notification for the recruitment of ICAI Branch In-charges for 2026. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 129 positions will be filled across various branches. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the official ICAI website from July 3, 2026, to July 19, 2026.

**Who can apply?**
Candidates applying for the ICAI Branch In-charge recruitment 2026 must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university, deemed university, or an institution recognized by AICTE/UGC or any other appropriate statutory authority. Only those candidates who have completed their graduation by the prescribed closing date will be eligible to apply. What is the application fee?
For the ICAI Branch In-charge Recruitment 2026, candidates must pay an application fee of ₹250 (non-refundable) via the online portal. This amount is inclusive of all taxes. The application will be considered complete only after all details are filled in and the fee payment is successful. Incomplete applications may be rejected.

Selection in two stages
Selection for this recruitment will be based on a written examination and an interview. The final selection of candidates will depend on their performance in both stages. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview, and the final merit list will be prepared based on this.
