Nowadays, due to poor eating habits, pollution and stress, premature graying of hair has become a common problem. People often use chemical hair dyes and colors available in the market to hide gray hair. Although these chemicals can darken your hair immediately, in the long run they can make your hair dry, lifeless and prone to graying. If you want to make your hair naturally black and shiny, tea leaves – easily found in your kitchen – are a great solution. Let us know why tea leaves are beneficial for hair and how to use them.
**Why are tea leaves beneficial for hair?**
Tea leaves are rich in antioxidants, tannins and caffeine. The tannins present in tea leaves give the hair a deep, natural color and gradually hide the gray hair. The caffeine present in it increases blood circulation in the scalp, which reduces hair fall and helps in growing new hair. Apart from this, it works as an excellent natural conditioner, which gives good shine to the hair.
**Correct way to use**
**Material**
2 to 3 spoons tea leaves
2 cups water
**Preparation and method of use**
Take two cups of water in a vessel, add tea leaves to it and boil well.
Boil it until the water reduces to half of its initial quantity and its color becomes dark black or brown.
Turn off the heat and let the liquid cool completely. After it cools down, filter the water.
After washing hair with your regular shampoo, pour this prepared tea leaves water on your scalp and hair.
Lightly massage the scalp with your fingers for 5 minutes and leave it on the hair for 15-20 minutes.
Finally, wash hair with plain water. By doing this regularly, visible results will be visible within a few days.
