Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana: If you are engaged in a traditional craft or trade and seek government support to expand your work, the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana could prove highly beneficial for you.

Under this central government scheme, artisans and craftspeople receive various facilities—such as training, financial aid, and low-interest loans—to help modernize their businesses and increase their earnings. Let us explore who is eligible for this scheme and the specific benefits it offers.

Benefits of joining the scheme

Eligible beneficiaries who join the scheme first undergo a period of advanced training. A daily stipend of ₹500 is provided during the training to ensure that the time spent training does not result in a loss of income. Furthermore, beneficiaries can access low-interest loans to start or expand their own businesses.

How much loan is available?

Initially, beneficiaries are granted a loan of up to ₹1 lakh under this scheme, which is to be repaid in monthly installments. If the first loan is repaid on time, a second loan of up to ₹2 lakh becomes available, with a repayment period of 30 months. This scheme allows you to scale up your business.
