Ambedkarnagar. On the birth anniversary of Bharatiya Jan Sangh founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, BJP organized a workers’ conference on Thursday at the Lohia Auditorium of the district headquarters under the birth anniversary commemoration fortnight.
The chief guest of the conference was Backward Classes Commission member, BJP Regional Minister Vinod Kumar Patel and the promoter of the issue was former District President Yamuna Prasad Chaturvedi. District President Dilip Patel Dev and Anand Srivastava conducted the lecture and presided as the subject promoter.
Chief guest Vinod Kumar Patel, while addressing the workers, said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s childhood was spent in Kolkata. He obtained the degree of Barrister from a prestigious school in England and gained prestige in the law practice of Kolkata High Court. Mukherjee ji jumped into the country’s freedom movement after being influenced by Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. As a minister in the interim government of Jawaharlal Nehru, he did many works in the interest of the country. Mukherjee ji was angry with the anti-national Nehru-Liaquat Pact and resigned from the cabinet. Mukherjee ji’s sacrifice is inspirational for us.

BJP District President Dilip Patel Dev said that the Prime Minister of the Congress government considered the country as his property. Due to Muslim appeasement, the Congress government benefited less to India and more to Pakistan. Mukherjee ji founded Bharatiya Jana Sangh on 21 October 1951. In the first general election of 1952, three MPs of Jan Sangh were elected, of which Mukherjee was one. The victory of Dr. Mukherjee ji’s sacrifice and ideas is the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Mukherjee ji sacrificed his life for the unity and integrity of the country.
