LG has launched the Xboom Bounce and Xboom Grab AI speakers in India as part of its new portable audio lineup. The Xboom Bounce is priced at Rs 17,999while the Xboom Grab costs Rs 11,999.

The company is positioning both models as rugged, travel-friendly speakers with AI-powered sound tuning and long battery life. They are available through LG’s channels and select retail partners in the country.

AI audio features

Both speakers come with AI Sound and AI Calibrationwhich adjust output based on the audio being played and the surrounding environment. LG has also included AI Lighting on the Bounce model, letting the speaker’s illumination sync with music playback.

The speakers support LE Audio Auracastwhich allows users to connect multiple compatible speakers together for a larger sound setup. LG says the speakers were co-created with will.i.am and use premium drivers tuned for portable use.

Battery and durability

The Xboom Bounce offers up to 30 hours of battery lifewhile the more compact Xboom Grab delivers up to 20 hours on a charge. That makes them suitable for long listening sessions, outdoor use and travel.

Both speakers carry IP67 protection, which means they are built to resist dust and water. The Bounce also adds military-grade durabilitymaking it the tougher of the two options.

Design and sound

The Xboom Bounce uses dual tweeters and a track-type woofer for fuller sound, while the Xboom Grab focuses on portability with a smaller, grab-and-go form factor. Both are intended to balance loud output with practical everyday carry.

LG is clearly aiming at users who want a premium portable speaker with smart audio tuning rather than a basic Bluetooth speaker. The AI branding and rugged build give the lineup a more distinctive identity in the crowded portable speaker market.
