New Delhi: As anticipation builds for the release of Alphastarring Alia Bhatt and Sharvarifilmmaker and actress Soni Razdan shared a deeply personal post featuring a rare family photograph. The film, scheduled for release on July 3, marks Yash Raj Films’ first female-led spy action thriller and has generated significant buzz among audiences.
In her post, Razdan referred to her 97-year-old mother as the “OG Alpha woman” of the family, celebrating her resilience and strength across generations. The image featured four generations together, including Alia Bhatt and her daughter Raha, creating a heartfelt moment ahead of the film’s release.
A Story Of Survival And Courage
Along with the photograph, Soni Razdan narrated a powerful account of her mother’s early life. She revealed that her mother escaped Nazi Germany at the age of six during World War II.
Although not Jewish, the family reportedly fled due to political persecution after Razdan’s grandfather openly opposed Adolf Hitler. Their journey took them through Czechoslovakia before they eventually reached the United Kingdom through the Kindertransport rescue initiative.
Razdan described the hardships her mother endured during those early years, highlighting the resilience that shaped her life. Later, she settled in India after marrying NN Razdan and built a new life here.
“Alpha Women Exist In Many Forms”
In her post, Razdan reflected on the idea of strength across generations, stating that “alpha women” exist in many forms and are often found within families, especially among mothers and grandmothers. She encouraged followers to share stories of strong women in their lives.
The emotional message resonated widely as fans connected it with the upcoming release of alphawhich is being seen as a major entry in YRF’s expanding spy universe.
Buzz Around YRF Spy Universe And Possible Crossover
Meanwhile, speculation continues around a surprise appearance in the film. The trailer of alpha ends with a mysterious cloaked figure whose identity remains hidden, sparking theories that it could be Hrithik Roshan’s character Kabir from the YRF Spy Universe.
If confirmed, the crossover would link Alpha with other major spy films in the franchise, adding further excitement ahead of its release.
