Once again there has been a big earthquake in the politics of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena’s (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) firebrand leader and MP Sanjay Raut has made his sharpest attack so far on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Sanjay Raut has warned in a very aggressive manner and claimed that in the coming time, BJP will completely disintegrate and it will be divided into at least 10 pieces. Along with this, he has also made a big claim regarding the political future of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde that his faction will also not be able to survive in this political turmoil.
Earthquake in Maharashtra politics and Sanjay Raut’s sharp attack
While talking to the media, Sanjay Raut clearly said that those who are proud of power today and are working to break the opposition parties with the help of central agencies, their end is very near. Taking the BJP to task, he said that the internal strife and dissatisfaction within the party has increased to such an extent that very soon the party will collapse like a house of cards. After this statement of Raut, the level of rhetoric has intensified in the political corridors of the state and sharp reactions have also started coming from the leaders of the Mahayuti government.
Serious questions raised on Eknath Shinde’s political existence
Along with BJP, the main target of Sanjay Raut was Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his group. Raut said that the public will never forgive those who have treacherously stolen the name and symbol of Shiv Sena. He claimed that in the next phase of elections and politics, Shinde group will completely cease to exist and Shinde will not be able to save himself. According to Raut, BJP uses regional parties for its convenience and sidelines them after the work is done, the same fate is going to happen to Shinde group also.
Political tug of war intensifies regarding upcoming elections
This statement of Sanjay Raut has come at a time when political parties in Maharashtra are busy strengthening their ground for the upcoming elections. The Uddhav faction continues to adopt an aggressive stance across Maharashtra including Mumbai, Thane, Pune and Nagpur. Raut while infusing enthusiasm among the workers said that the real Shiv Sena is in the hearts of the common people and the coming results will prove that the people of Maharashtra do not tolerate betrayal. This statement has completely heated up the local bodies of the state and the upcoming political equations.
