ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru received bomb threat –

Knews Desk- There was panic after receiving a bomb threat to the headquarters of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Bengaluru. According to the information, this threatening e-mail was sent to the office of ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan, after which the security agencies were immediately alerted.

As soon as information about the threat was received, police and bomb disposal squad teams reached the spot and the entire ISRO headquarters complex was evacuated. After this, the security forces conducted a thorough search operation of the building and the surrounding area. However, no suspicious or explosive object was found during the search, which gave a sigh of relief. According to police officials, all necessary security protocols were implemented immediately after receiving the e-mail. The employees were evacuated safely and the entire premises was temporarily sealed to avoid any possible danger.

Meanwhile, cyber crime and intelligence agencies have started investigating the threatening e-mail. The investigation team is trying to find out who has sent this mail and from where. Besides, it is also being investigated whether this e-mail has been sent from a foreign server or there is some organized conspiracy behind it. Officials say that no suspect has been identified in this case yet, but the technical investigation is going on rapidly. Many teams are working from different angles to find out the source and purpose of the e-mail.

It is noteworthy that in the past also many institutions and schools in the country have received similar fake bomb threat e-mails, in which no explosives were found after investigation. Such cases have raised concerns among security agencies and highlighted the need to refocus on cyber security. At present the situation at ISRO Headquarters is completely under control and the security arrangements have been tightened more than before. The investigating agencies are investigating the matter from every aspect and it is being claimed that they will soon find out the sender of the e-mail.
