Came to visit India. He could not even imagine what experience he would have to face after going back to his native land. British citizen Lori Denman came to this country in 2007. Mastinek was. Then go back. He was suffering from physical problems since three years. Finally, it was found that 38 parasites have settled in the brain of the British woman. The doctors believe that he brought this danger from India. According to the BBC, this matter has recently come to light.
It is known that the woman did not eat meat in India for fear of food poisoning. But why ‘destiny to force’! Unknowingly, Lora had eaten pork. The meat contained tapeworm eggs. He was infected from there. The name of this disease is neurocysticercosis.
According to the report, a meter long tapeworm came out of his body for the first time in 2010 during defecation. From the next year, various problems arise in the body. The woman went to the doctor with various symptoms like headache, visual hallucinations. His brain was scanned and found to be full of parasites. A total of 38 parasites found! Lora and her mother were shocked when they first heard about the disease. Then the treatment begins. He recovered in 2022. But for that a lot of wood had to be burnt.
He was in the hospital for six months. In fact, the treatment for this disease is different for each patient. This type of infection is common from undercooked pork. Sometimes brain surgery is also required. But in Lora’s case he didn’t have to. Eggs and parasites could be killed by drugs. However, even if he is healthy, the doctors said that he will have to take epilepsy medicine for the rest of his life.
