Visiting religious and historical places

If you want to visit the famous Jyotirlingas of Ujjain along with the major religious and historical places of Rajasthan in one trip, then there is a great opportunity for you. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a special tourist train package called ‘Divine Rajasthan with Ujjain Yatra’. This journey will be of 11 nights and 12 days, starting from October 21, 2026. This journey also includes visiting many major cities of Rajasthan along with Ujjain and Omkareshwar of Madhya Pradesh. This special train will start from Solapur.

Apart from Solapur, passengers can board and deboard the train from stations like Kurduvadi, Daund, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara and Ratlam. During the trip, the package includes train travel as well as bus facilities to reach local sightseeing spots.

Top places to visit

This tour will start from Udaipur, where the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Nathdwara Temple and ‘Statue of Belief’ will be visited. After this, the journey will move towards Ajmer and Pushkar, where the travelers will visit Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and Ajmer Dargah. There will be an opportunity to see Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Jaipur includes visit to City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Birla Temple. Apart from this, there will also be a visit to the famous Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple in Ringas. The last stop of the journey will be Ujjain, where Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga will be visited.

IRCTC has made this package available in three categories. Economy sleeper class fare is ₹19,900 per person. Standard 3AC class will cost ₹31,920 per person and Comfort 2AC class will cost ₹41,840 per person. Special concessional rates have also been set for children aged 5 to 11 years. Additionally, a limited number of lower berths will also be available.

Description of Features

This package includes train travel, vegetarian meals, hotel accommodation, sightseeing bus facility, travel insurance, security on board the train and all applicable taxes. Economy class passengers will be accommodated in non-AC sleeper coaches and non-AC hotels, while 3AC and 2AC class passengers will be accommodated in AC budget hotels. AC buses will be provided for local travel in 2AC class, while non-AC trains will be available for other classes.

Additional expenses for passengers

However, some expenses will have to be borne by the passengers themselves. This package does not include entry fees to monuments, boating or adventure activities, local guide fees, hotel room service, personal expenses, mineral water, extra meals, tips or any services not included in the itinerary.
