In the international market Comex, a decline of 0.11 percent was recorded in the price of gold, after which it fell by $ 4.40 to reach $ 4,078 an ounce. On the other hand, silver was seen trading at $ 60.660 an ounce with a gain of 0.25 percent.
There was pressure on gold in the domestic futures market MCX also. Here gold was seen falling by about Rs 170 and trading at Rs 1,44,260 per 10 grams. Whereas silver showed strength and reached the level of Rs 2,31,539 per kg with an increase of about Rs 1,155.

There was a strong surge earlier
Recently, a sharp rise in both gold and silver was seen in the market. Before the first public address of US Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh, there was a sudden rise in the prices of both the metals at around 6 pm on Wednesday evening, however after this the market again took different directions.
What are the prices in big cities?
In the main cities of the country, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 24 carat gold remains around Rs 1.44 lakh per 10 grams. Whereas 22 carat gold is trading at the level of around Rs 1.32 lakh per 10 grams. Slight fluctuations have been seen in prices for the last few days, but the market still remains in a stable range.
If we talk about silver, its strengthening trend continues. At present, the price of silver remains between Rs 2.32 lakh to Rs 2.34 lakh per kg, which is trading at a better level than in recent times.
