Ayodhya. There is increasing resentment among the saints and sages of Ayodhya regarding the alleged irregularities to the offerings of Ram temple. Sant Samaj has demanded an impartial investigation into the matter and immediate action against the culprits. He says that this episode to Lord Shri Ram’s temple has affected the faith of crores of devotees, hence the government should bring out the truth as soon as possible.

Mahant Dharmadas, a former party in the Ram Lalla case, said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is keeping an eye on the matter and he is confident that an appropriate decision will be taken soon on the basis of investigation. There should be confidence in the way the investigation is progressing. He also demanded that the arrangements of the Ram temple should be handed over to the saints, so that the operation of the temple can be done in a transparent and systematic manner.

Mahant Dharmadas also said that commercial activities are being promoted more than religious activities in Ayodhya, due to which the devotees are facing difficulties. Strict action should be taken against those involved in the alleged embezzlement of offering funds. Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj said that the SIT is investigating the case and during the investigation many facts are coming to light one by one. The picture of the entire matter will become clear within the next 15 days.

He said that Sanatan Samaj has struggled for 500 years for the construction of Ram Mandir, hence one should not lose patience with the investigation process of a few days. However, he admitted that this incident has hurt the sentiments of the devotees and the government should take a quick decision and make the truth public.

Mahant Vishnu Das criticized the rhetoric being made by political parties on this issue. He said that some political parties are using this issue for political gains, whereas it is a matter of faith. According to him, in view of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, politics has started on this issue, which is not appropriate. I appeal to all parties not to do politics on this matter.

At the same time, Varun Das Maharaj said that people are continuously getting calls from all over the country and they are being asked questions as to how such a case came to light despite such tight security arrangements. He said that where devotees cannot stand at one place for a long time and even have darshan, it is very serious and shameful to see such an incident. Demanded to immediately identify the culprits and take strict action, so that the faith of the devotees can be maintained.
