Material
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tbsp green chilli powder
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1 small potato (chopped)
- ½ cup paneer pieces
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Curry leaf
- Salt
- fresh coriander
step 1: Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and peanuts. Let them all cook until they become crisp and make a crackling sound.
Step 2: Now add chopped onions, tomatoes and potatoes to it. Fry all these vegetables until they become soft and light golden.
Step 3: Add half cup of paneer pieces in it and cook lightly for a minute. Then add green chilli thecha so that the taste of thecha blends well with the cheese and vegetables.
Step 4: Now add the cooked rice to the pan and mix slowly so that the masala coats each grain of rice properly and the grains do not break.
Step 5: Now add salt as per taste and cook on low flame for two minutes, so that the taste of everything gets mixed together. Switch off the flame and garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot with curd or papad. Delicious thecha pulao is ready to eat.
