The senior politician has shared some video clips of the press conference on his X account. In a press briefing held on Monday (June 29) night, Mahmood Khan, showing the brutal face of the Pakistani regime, said, “You took the lives of 18 people in a sensitive area. If you want to kill more people, then kill them. Then it will be another Jallianwala Bagh. After that, also remember the fate of General Dyer.”
He reminded, “A hundred years later, when Queen Elizabeth came to India, the Government of India had asked her to apologize for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.”
Achakzai expressed the pain of PoK. He said, “The people here were not the kind who would carry knives, daggers or guns. Why were they forced to reach this extreme? Bullets were fired on them and more than 11 people lost their lives.”
He claimed that during this period, various organizations contacted him and said, “Brother, stand between us and the government.” Giving an open warning to the government, Achakzai said, “If you have the courage, then send us to jail as well. You also sentenced the 70-year-old prisoners of Kot Lakhpat jail to 280 years’ imprisonment. Why all this? Fear God.”
In fact, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, a 70-year-old politician and former Punjab Health Minister of Pakistan, lodged in Kot Lakhpat Jail (Lahore), has been sentenced to 280 years in jail in cases to violent protests.
Pointing to the corruption prevalent in Pakistan, he said, “Those who buy and sell parliaments become the heroes of Pakistan, while those who want a democratic Pakistan, you stand against them.
