Vegetables To Avoid In Monsoon: It is good for health to stay away from some vegetables while eating during the rainy season. There is a need to take special care of this during the monsoon season. In this season, the risk of bacteria, fungus and insects growing in these vegetables is highest. Due to increase in moisture and humidity in the air during monsoon, these vegetables can cause stomach infection, food poisoning, vomiting and diarrhea. Let us know which vegetables should be avoided. These vegetables should not be brought home in the rainy season.

Leafy vegetables like spinach and fenugreek: Due to growing near the ground, soil dirt, bacteria and insects easily stick to them.

Mushrooms: Due to growing in humid environment, there is a high risk of bacterial infection in them.

Brinjal: The chances of insects getting inside brinjal increases in rain, which can cause skin allergies or stomach upset.

Wash off with warm water: If you have to eat leafy vegetables, soak them in lukewarm water with salt or vinegar for at least 15-20 minutes.

Cook thoroughly: Instead of eating vegetables half cooked or raw, eat them completely boiled or cooked so that all the germs die.

Eat fresh food: Food spoils quickly in the rain, so always eat freshly prepared hot food.
