Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari commented on various political issues including SIR process in Uttar Pradesh, opposition’s claims against governments and updating documents of Waqf properties.

Speaking to IANS on Congress’ letter to the CJI on the opposition’s opposition to SIR, Danish Azad Ansari said, “Congress and opposition parties have only the agenda of misleading the public. It was the intention of the Election Commissioner to conduct fair and transparent elections through SIR, which was also visible at the ground level.

In the states where SIR elections were held, positive results were seen and the voting percentage increased. SIR is the process of correcting the voter list. The opposition is continuously trying to prove that it has no agenda left by spreading confusion about this. There is no confidence in the opposition in the hearts of the public. The opposition is trying to make its political gains by misleading the public.

Akhilesh Yadav is claiming that the BJP government will lose from UP in 2027, while Rahul Gandhi is saying that the BJP will lose from the Centre. On this, Danish Azad said, “The leaders of these parties made such claims in 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2024, which proved to be unsuccessful.

Samajwadi Party and Congress had to face defeat in every election. Wherever elections are being held, Congress claims to win but the result is opposite. Where Congress or opposition parties won, the elections and SIR process were not questioned. Insulting the public mandate is costing the opposition dearly.”

On the closure of Madrasa Board in Uttarakhand, Minister Danish Azad Ansari said, “The Uttarakhand government has upgraded Madrasa education. Through the Minority Education Authority, the government will provide good education to the children of minority communities, which is a good step.”

Minister Danish Azad Ansari says, “When our government came up with the Waqf (Amendment) Act, the aim was to digitize the Waqf properties and bring them on the online platform. Its objective was to remove illegal encroachment on Waqf properties, correct the documents to these properties and ensure proper auditing so that the income from Waqf properties can be increased.”

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Minister Danish Azad Ansari said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked with incredible dedication and hard work for the progress of India. Since 2014, India’s prestige, respect and acceptance has increased at the international level.”
