Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’ passes censor board exam, gets UA 16+ certificate

Tezzbuzz Desk – Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor starrer film ‘Alpha’ has been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The Censor Board has given UA 16+ certificate to this film, after which it is all set for release on the big screen on July 3.

This film is considered to be the first female-lead spy film of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, in which Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will be seen in powerful action avatars. The action glimpse of both in the trailer has already caught the attention of the audience.

The film will be of 140 minutes

According to reports, the runtime of ‘Alpha’ has been fixed at 140 minutes (2 hours 20 minutes). However, official information about how many cuts have been made by the Censor Board in the film has not been revealed yet.

Information about the film’s certificate has surfaced on social media and the team has also confirmed that ‘Alpha’ has received the green signal from the censor board.

According to CBFC, the story of the film revolves around a girl who burns with the fire of revenge and teaches a lesson to everyone who comes in her path. But in this journey, many such secrets to his life come to light, which change his entire world. She is ready to go to any extent to complete her mission.

Yash Raj Spy Universe Expands

‘Alpha’ is the seventh film and fourth standalone project of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Earlier, this universe included big films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Tiger 3’, ‘War’, ‘War 2’ and ‘Pathan’.

Superstars like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have already made their presence felt in this universe. Now Alia Bhatt is entering this franchise as a new female spy.

In recent times, some of the big films of Yash Raj Films, like ‘Tiger 3’ and ‘War 2’, did not perform as per expectations. In such a situation, the makers have a lot of expectations from ‘Alpha’.
