The psychological thriller 'Riptide' is returning this week, featuring EastEnders star Jo Joyner in a gripping lead role. The repeat screening follows another thriller, 'Little Disasters', which aired over the past two weeks, continuing the network's commitment to compelling drama programming.

As per Express, the four-part series originally premiered in 2022 during the festive period, beginning on December 27, and attracted a strong audience response. Now, viewers have the opportunity to revisit the thriller as repeats air throughout the week, broadcasting on consecutive evenings. The first episode aired on Monday, June 29, and tonight's second episode begins at 9 pm. Episodes are also available to stream on the platform's digital service.

The story of Alison Weston 's mysterious Australian disappearanceThe drama follows Alison's life as it is "plunged into despair when her new Australian husband vanishes after a morning surf." The central mystery at the heart of the narrative asks whether he became caught in a dangerous riptide or if there is something more sinister behind his disappearance. Her co-star Ciarán Griffiths , familiar from 'Shameless', 'The Flats', 'The Bill' and 'Coronation Street', assumes the role of Michael Lane in the series.
