Popular actor Ram Kapoor , who is one of the contestants on Lock Upp season 2, recently opened up about his kissing scene in Bade Achhe Lage Hain. During his conversation with Ashneer Grover 's wife Madhuri, he revealed his wife Gautami Kapoor 's reaction to the controversial lip-lock.

In the latest episode of Lock Upp 2 , Madhuri Grover was seen talking to Ram Kapoor. During their conversation, she shared her views on star wives and said it must be difficult for them to watch their husbands romance other actresses on screen. Ram explained her that it is their responsibility to make their wives feel secure, loved and safe.

Ram Kapoor reveals wife Gautami's reactionExplaining his point, Ram said, "Hum apni wives ko kitna secure, kitna safe, kitna in love mehsus karwate hain woh humari zimmedaari hai. Maine teen baar teen alag actresses ko kiss kiya hai on-screen. (It's our responsibility to make our wives feel secure, loved and safe. I've kissed three different actresses on-screen. ) Not once did Gautami have a problem. She happily said yes veery time because I make her feel so comfortable and loved, she doesn't need to bother about it a day."

Ram shares Gautami told him 'Make me proud'Ram further went on to talk about his controversial lip-lock scene from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and revealed Gautami told him 'Make me proud', "She knows it's his job. He calls himself a professional. I am a professional. I did Indian television's first lip-to-lip kiss with Sakshi Tanwar . I have no idea what cave you've been living in. It became such a huge controversy. A massive one. The way she told me, "Make me proud," I knew how happy she must have felt that her husband was making history with the first kiss. So you're completely mistaken," he added.

Recently, during the press launch of Lock Upp, Ram talked about his family's reaction to his participation. He shared that his kids and family were worried for him.

Ram Kapoor said, “I never imagined I would do a show like this. Yesterday, it was Father's Day. My children woke me up and asked me why I was participating in this show. They were worried. For the first time, they asked me this question.”

He further shared what made him say 'yes' for the show, “At times, the universe gives you signs. I got 4 signs. The first sign was that the casting person who called me is a very respected and close friend of mine. She would have never offered me a show of this kind, but she told me to consider the offer. I went to meet her, fully prepared to decline. Then I met two individuals. They shocked me with their pitch,” he shared.

Ram further added, "The third sign was that India has such a large population and yet, this show will be hosted only by these two (pointed at Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh ). I’ll tell you the truth: Farah, me and Sajid are chaddi buddies. As for Riteish, he has seen me without a chaddi (innerwear). Am I right, Riteish?”.

On the work front, Ram Kapoor has been part of successful shows like Ghar Ek Mandir, Kasamh Se, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain amongst others. He was last seen in a web show 'Mistry'.
