Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday held a Janata Darshan session, where he patiently heard grievances of citizens from various districts across the state.
He received applications from complainants and directed officials to ensure that every grievance is resolved within a fixed timeframe. He also instructed that, once a complaint is addressed, officials must personally contact the concerned person to confirm their satisfaction with the resolution.
Reassuring citizens, the Chief Minister said, “Return home without any worry. Every case will be resolved properly.”
During the session, a woman from Bareilly sought financial assistance for her cancer treatment. When asked for a hospital cost estimate, she was unable to present it immediately. The Chief Minister advised her to obtain the estimate and assured her, “Focus on your health. The government will take care of your treatment.” He further directed officials to ensure her admission and proper medical care.
Several revenue-related disputes were also raised during the hearing. The Chief Minister made it clear that encroachment will not be tolerated under any circumstances and strict action will continue against violations.
He emphasized the importance of timely disposal of revenue cases, stating that delayed decisions often cause hardship to poor litigants. He instructed revenue officials to attend court proceedings regularly and ensure swift judgments.
Reiterating the government’s commitment, he said that delivering justice and timely relief to citizens remains a top priority.
