In heavy and sticky soil, its roots start rotting, due to which the growth of the plant can stop. It is also important to have a drainage hole at the bottom of the pot.

Brahma Kamal does not like direct sunlight in the afternoon. Keep it in a place where it can get light morning sunlight or bright but indirect light throughout the day.
