New Delhi: Rohit Shetty is ready to bring back the adrenaline rush with Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, and the upcoming season promises to push contestants further than ever before. After a two-year gap, the filmmaker returns as host with a new edition packed with extreme challenges, unexpected twists and a mix of returning faces and fresh competitors.

The latest season was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, where the team shot some of the most challenging stunt sequences of the franchise. Speaking about the experience, Rohit described the shoot as “hectic, tiring, and physically challenging” and promised viewers “a never-before-seen season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.”

The makers have already teased the scale of the new challenges with glimpses of contestants performing dangerous tasks at great heights, facing locked cages and dealing with snakes and insects. This season follows the theme ‘Darr Ka Naya Daur’, hinting at tougher stunts and bigger risks.

The stunt reality show will premiere on July 25 on Colors TV and will also stream on JioHotstar. The show will occupy the weekend prime-time slot currently held by Laughter Chefs 3, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.

Among the contestants, Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has already become a talking point. A teaser showed him running away from a cheetah, and the unusual moment quickly caught attention online.

Reacting to the viral clip, Orry joked, “Can’t believe this was the run everyone said I looked like Kendall Jenner in…”

This season introduces a major format change as previous participants return to compete alongside new contestants. The combination of familiar faces and first-time challengers is expected to add more unpredictability to the competition.

The lineup includes Gaurav Khanna, Avinash Mishra, Farrhana Bhatt, Shagun Sharma, Avika Gor, Orhan Awatramani (Orry), Harsh Gujral, Jasmin Bhasin, Rubina Dilaik, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Vishal Aditya Singh.

Early reports suggest Farrhana Bhatt and Karan Wahi are among the leading contenders, while Avinash Mishra, Ruhaanika Dhawan and Rithvik Dhanjani are rumoured to have secured spots in the top five.
