According to the latest reports, there has been a new development in Nancy Guthrie’s case. A demand letter alleged that more than one person was involved in the kidnapping of Savannah Guthrie’s mother. Not only that, but the note also claimed to have proof.

According to the reports shared online, the person alleged that they have proof that more than one person was involved in her kidnapping, and that they have “a phone stashed in a secure location” containing video proof.

The outlet also reported that the video is said to show glimpses of Nancy with the “main guy” on her “last day.” According to the report, the anonymous email came from the same person who shared all the prior information and emails. The email has been forwarded to the FBI and other rightful authorities; however, no official statement has been shared at the time of writing.

A statement from the email reads, "What it contains is my definition of delivering them on a silver platter, a short video of the main guy with Nancy, the day that was probably her last, pictures of both involved, names and addresses and age."

A new Bitcoin address was also shared along with the anonymous email, which also claimed that the phone with the proof of her kidnapping is in a location that is “easy to access if you know where it is."

Older note about Nancy Guthrie’s passingOnly a few days ago, another ransom note was made public, claiming that Savannah’s mother had passed away shortly after she was taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona. The incident occurred on February 1, and an investigation has been ongoing since then. CNN reported that the note stated the person expressed regret over her passing. However, no other information about the matter was shared in the letter, and no ransom note was added either. Another note containing a ransom plea for Nancy Guthrie’s safe return was shared with the authorities prior to this as well. The note had contained a Bitcoin address, and a plea for a couple of million dollars was also made.
