It is being told that this project is still in the initial stage and at present no official confirmation has been given by the company regarding it.

There will be direct competition with Samsung and Oura

If Apple launches a smart ring, it will directly compete with already existing players like Samsung Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring. Samsung introduced its Galaxy Ring in 2024, which comes with health and fitness tracking features.

Oura Ring is already a popular name in this segment, especially for its health monitoring features.
