Nothing is preparing to expand its lineup with the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b, which is expected to be the first device in its new “b” series. The smartphone is reportedly set to debut next month, with the company already teasing its design and a new light blue colour option.
While official details remain limited, multiple leaks and benchmark listings have revealed key specifications, giving an early idea of what to expect from the device.
Display and Performance Details
According to industry tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, continuing the brand’s focus on smooth visuals.
Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a mid-range chipset also referenced in recent Geekbench listings linked to the phone. The benchmark data further suggests the handset may come with 8GB of RAM and run on Android 16-based Nothing OS out of the box.
Performance scores from the listing reportedly include a single-core score of 1,088 and a multi-core score of 3,155, indicating a solid mid-range performance profile.
Camera and Battery Expectations
On the camera front, the Phone 4b is said to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor, accompanied by a secondary lens as part of a dual-camera setup. While full details of the second sensor have not yet been revealed, Nothing has already confirmed the presence of a dual rear camera system through official teasers.
The device is also tipped to house a 5,400mAh battery, offering improved endurance compared to previous models in its segment.
Storage and Colour Options
The smartphone is expected to launch in two storage variants:
8GB RAM + 128GB storage
8GB RAM + 256GB storage
It is also likely to be available in three colour options. While the full colour lineup has not been confirmed, Nothing has already showcased a light blue variant, which is expected to be one of the launch finishes.
Design Changes: New Glyph Bar System
One of the major design shifts in the Nothing Phone 4b is its lighting system. Unlike earlier models featuring the segmented Glyph Interface, the Phone 4b is expected to introduce a compact horizontal Glyph Bar placed near the camera module.
This redesigned lighting element is likely to support notifications, charging status indicators, and app-specific alerts, offering a more simplified but functional visual system.
Launch Date
Nothing is expected to officially unveil the Phone 4b on July 7, along with final specifications, pricing, and availability details.
With early leaks pointing to a refined design, updated chipset, and improved battery capacity, the Phone 4b is shaping up to be a key addition to Nothing’s expanding smartphone portfolio.
