SBI BMO Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Bank Medical Officers (BMO-II). A total of 35 positions across various circles nationwide will be filled through this recruitment drive. According to the notification, appointments will be made for a total of 35 Bank Medical Officer (BMO-II) posts. The highest number of vacancies—6 each—are in the Lucknow and Maharashtra circles. Additionally, there are 4 vacancies each in Bhubaneswar and Jaipur, and 3 in Patna.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council.

Additionally, candidates must have post-registration work experience with the relevant Medical Council.
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required for MBBS candidates.
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for holders of MD/MS degrees or Post Graduate Diplomas.
The internship period will not be counted towards the experience requirement.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 35 years as of May 1, 2026.

Selection Process
Candidates for the SBI Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 will be selected through several stages.

1. Shortlisting
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted after a scrutiny of applications.

2. Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The interview will carry 100 marks.

3. Merit List
