Praveen Goyal, the father of Siya Goyal, has expressed that if his daughter is found guilty of murdering her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, she should face the most severe punishment, including the death penalty. In an interview with a news channel, Goyal shared his disbelief regarding the allegations against his daughter. He revealed that the shock of her arrest led to his hospitalization in the ICU due to a heart attack, and he is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Pune.

Despite his emotional turmoil, Goyal emphasized that his feelings as a father should not interfere with the pursuit of justice. He stated that if Siya is proven guilty, the court should act swiftly in delivering justice. He further remarked that if the charges are substantiated, his daughter deserves the same fate as Ketan, who, according to police, met a tragic end at Lohagad Fort.

On June 18, Siya, engaged to Pune-based real estate businessman Ketan Agarwal, allegedly signaled her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, to push Ketan into a ravine. A police officer investigating the case disclosed that Siya and Chetan opted for murder over eloping due to fears of family disgrace. Initially, they attempted to blame each other during questioning, a common tactic among suspects. However, Siya eventually confessed to orchestrating the plan, with Chetan being complicit.

According to the officer, Chetan initially claimed he was present at the fort but did not approach the spot where Ketan was pushed, insisting he was unaware of the events. It became evident that he was lying. Ultimately, both admitted their roles in the crime and provided a detailed account of the incident. The plan involved Siya (20) signaling from a distance while Chetan (22) executed the act of pushing Ketan into the ravine. They informed the police about the sequence of events, stating that Ketan had no inkling of the impending danger before being pushed.
