A sudden explosion during the Moharram procession in Badnagar area of ​​Ujjain created panic in the entire area. According to the information, a magic vehicle was lifted into the air with the help of a crane when it exploded. After the video of the incident surfaced, the discussion intensified on social media and security agencies immediately swung into action. The administration took immediate action and seized the magic vehicle and crane.

After the incident, security arrangements have been tightened in the entire area. Additional police forces have been deployed in sensitive areas around Ujjain like Unhel, Nagda and Mahidpur. The administration has made it clear that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated and the entire matter is being investigated from every angle.

NSA action on demand of BJP MLA

BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma was the first to take a strict stand regarding this matter. He termed it not a normal incident but a planned conspiracy and demanded imposition of NSA on the accused. The MLA said that the manner in which the blast occurred raises serious security questions.

The MLA also demanded that a case be registered against the accused under sections of attempt to murder. He says that if pieces or glass of the vehicle had fallen down after the blast, the lives of many people could have been in danger, the responsibility for which should be fixed.

Along with this, he raised the question from where the explosive material was brought for such an incident and what was its purpose. He also said that this is not a sudden incident but could be a pre-planned plan, which needs to be investigated in depth.

Increased surveillance in sensitive areas

Considering the seriousness of the incident, now ATS has also been included in the investigation along with the police. Investigative agencies are trying to find out how the blast occurred and whether there was some technical fault or some kind of conspiracy behind it.

Both the vehicle and the crane have been seized for investigation and their technical aspects are being examined. The administration says that the matter is being investigated from every angle so that the truth can come out.

Security has been further tightened in sensitive areas around Ujjain. Police and intelligence agencies are constantly keeping a watch so that any untoward situation can be avoided.

The MLA also raised questions about what was meant by words like ‘take away’ during the incident and whether it was part of some pre-planning. At present the entire matter is under investigation and following NSA instructions the action has been intensified.
