China remained Cambodia’s top source of international visitors, with nearly 400,000 arrivals, accounting for 26% of the total, according to data released by the Ministry of Tourism.
Vietnam ranked second, contributing 381,062 visitors, or 24% of the market share, while the U.S. placed third with more than 91,000 tourists.
Of the total international arrivals, around 975,769 visitors, or nearly 64%, traveled to Cambodia by air.

However, the number of air arrivals fell by almost 20% compared with the same period last year.
Despite the decline, government officials remain confident in the tourism sector’s long-term recovery.
Tourism Minister Huot Hak said authorities are stepping up efforts to restore international arrivals while prioritizing sustainable development and improving the quality of tourism offerings, Khmer Times reported.
The ministry has strengthened tourism promotion efforts with the private sector, enhanced air connectivity, and supported improvements in service standards across the industry.
