doli earth in venezuela
Two very powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 occurred in Venezuela on Wednesday evening local time, at an interval of about one minute. The epicenter of these twin tremors was the same area. Which completely shook the capital Caracas. The magnitude of this disaster can be gauged from the fact that a 22-storey skyscraper located in the Altamira area of Caracas collapsed like a house of cards. A cloud of dust spread everywhere and people ran towards the streets in disarray. It is considered to be the worst earthquake in the history of Venezuela in the last 100 years. The government has closed the gas lines as a precautionary measure so that the debris does not catch fire.
