System migration will continue. Therefore, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) portal and UMANG app will not work for the next three days. The issue has been informed by EPFO by publishing a circular. However, the company said that more secure and better services will be available later.
How long will the portal and app not work? According to the notification, the work will continue from 26th June 12 pm i.e. Friday 28th till 11.59 pm. According to the organization, no one can apply for withdrawal these days. Enrollment of new employees, download of e-passbook also cannot be done. That means neither employee nor recruiter can use the portal. But in case of very urgent situation, you can call 14470 for assistance.
There are many who have applied for withdrawal through EPFO portal or UMANG app. But still the money has not entered the account. Meanwhile, the portal and app will be closed for 3 days for work. As a result, the question in their mind, what will happen now? The application will not be canceled? In this regard, EPFO has made it clear that those who have applied for money before the start of migration, have no reason to worry. No application will be rejected. But yes, there may be a little delay in crediting the money account than usual.
