The Gujarat government is actively working to establish the state as a global hub for tourism and spiritual destinations. Home and Pilgrimage Development Minister Harsh Sanghavi has officially cleared several important projects under this initiative, marking a significant step toward enhancing religious tourism infrastructure across the state.
6 Districts Included in the Development Plan
The approved plan covers key pilgrimage locations across six major districts of Gujarat. These include Valsad, Surat, and Dang in South Gujarat, known for their spiritually significant sites, as well as Rajkot and surrounding religious centers in Saurashtra.
