With this, Gill has left behind Indian veteran batsman Virat Kohli. In the ranking of Test bowlers, New Zealand’s fast bowler Matt Henry has jointly achieved the top position, equaling Indian star bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

Shubman Gill gained in ICC rankings

Indian captain Shubman Gill has gained in the latest ICC ODI batting rankings. He has jumped three places to the second position. In the current rankings, Gill is just 24 rating points behind New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell. In the latest ranking of ODI batsmen, Shubman Gill has left behind Indian veteran batsman Virat Kohli. Gill is at second place with 791 rating points. Whereas Virat Kohli has slipped to third position with 768 points.

Ishan Kishan benefited

Indian wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan has also benefited in the latest rankings of ICC ODI batsmen. Ishaan has jumped 21 places to reach 43rd position. In the latest rankings, three Indian batsmen are included in the top 10, in which Shubman Gill is at second place, Virat Kohli is at third place and Rohit Sharma is at fourth place. Apart from this, KL Rahul has slipped a few places to 11th position.

Apart from this, three Indian bowlers have also gained in the latest rankings. Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has jumped 16 places to reach 22nd position. Prasidh Krishna has gained 34 places. He is now at number 58. While star all-rounder Washington Sundar has jumped 17 places to reach 71st position.

Matt Henry reached the top with Bumrah

New Zealand’s star fast bowler Matt Henry has jointly reached the top with Indian star bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the Test bowling rankings. Recently, Kiwi fast bowler Matt Henry bowled brilliantly in the second test match against England. Due to which he got benefit in ranking.
