SAU Admission 2026: South Asian University (SAU), Delhi, has commenced the admission process for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD courses for the 2026-27 academic session. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30. The university is situated on a 100-acre campus in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, and was established through the joint efforts of SAARC member nations. At the PG level, the university offers programs in subjects such as Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Economics.

For PhD programs, the university will offer admission in disciplines including Biotechnology, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Management, and Climate Change.

How to get admission?
Admission for Indian students will be based on scores from national-level examinations such as CUET, CLAT, CAT, and GATE. According to the university, its degrees are recognized by the UGC and other regulatory bodies.

One-time fees at SAU

The registration fee at South Asian University is $20 (non-refundable), while the admission fee is $200. The security deposit is $200; although this is refundable, 25% of the amount will be deducted as an SAU alumni fee. Hostel charges, if applicable, will be levied according to rates determined by the university. Additionally, a Student Aid Fund contribution of $10 USD is payable each semester. According to the exchange rate set by the university, 1 US Dollar is equivalent to 91 Indian Rupees. This fee structure applies to Indian students as well.
