During the challenge, the Xiaomi YU7 GT completed all driving tasks without any human assistance in the difficult conditions of the Nordschleife’s 73 turns, an elevation change of approximately 300 meters, and a constantly changing road surface. This new success of this EV proves the excellent capabilities of Xiaomi’s autonomous driving system in difficult and rapidly changing conditions. At the same time, it also shows the possibilities offered by deep integration of AI and advanced vehicle control technology.
It is being told that Xiaomi’s autonomous driving system is built on end-to-end architecture and vehicle dynamics model. The system understands the vehicle’s position and road conditions in real-time and makes control decisions through dynamic predictions. At high speeds and under high load conditions, the system continuously controls and coordinates steering, braking and power delivery to maintain vehicle stability.
