A steamed bun seller has charmed social media users after turning a routine day of street vending into an impromptu musical performance to help promote a neighboring durian stall.
In a viral video, the man can be seen singing playful, made-up lyrics to the melody of the classic Vietnamese song “Co Gai Ban Sau Rieng” (The Durian Seller Girl). Rather than advertising his own products, he cheerfully encouraged passersby to buy durians from the vendor beside him.
His down-to-earth singing style, sense of humor and spontaneous showmanship brought smiles to onlookers and created a lively atmosphere on the street.
