Real Madrid’s summer transfer activities appear to be continuing, with the club now focusing its efforts on bolstering the midfield department.

After already strengthening several parts of the squad, the Spanish champions have reportedly identified Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez as a primary target for this transfer window.

As per reports from Defensa Central, Real Madrid and Chelsea are holding advanced negotiations centred on a possible transfer for the Argentine international midfielder.

Although a final agreement has not yet been reached, sources suggest growing optimism within both camps, with progress expected over the coming weeks as Fernandez’s personal desire to move becomes increasingly evident.

Real Madrid’s admiration for Fernandez is not a new development, but recent updates indicate that discussions are moving forward at a faster pace than before.

The 23-year-old Argentine, who remains under contract with Chelsea until 2032, is currently tied to the reigning FIFA Club World Cup champions, giving the Premier League side a strong position in negotiations.
