However, she never returned from the mountain. Since then Khait Mountain is considered to be the village of 9 fairies.

According to another folk story, a farmer named Jeetu lived at the same place with his wife who often used to sit on the mountain and play the flute. Hearing the sweet sound of his flute, the fairies came to him and took the farmer with them. After which that farmer was never seen by anyone. Therefore it is believed that humans should not go to this mountain otherwise the fairies will take them away.
