Saharanpur, June 22. Lallan Singh, a criminal from Bihar carrying a reward of Rs 1.25 lakh, was killed in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Lallan Singh was caught by UP Police in Saharanpur. After this the police tried to catch this notorious person. However, in an attempt to escape from the police, an attempt was made to target the team. Lallan Singh is accused of murdering seven people in Bihar. This included two sub-inspectors, a bank cashier and a security guard.

Lallan Singh son of Shiv Shankar Singh was a wanted criminal of Bihar. He was a resident of Anandgolwa village, Mohiuddin Nagar police station of Samastipur district. Was wanted in many serious cases for a long time. On his arrest, a reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced by the Varanasi Police Commissionerate. At the same time, a reward of Rs 25 thousand was also announced by Chandauli Police.
Rewarded criminal Lalan Singh alias Lallan was killed in a police encounter in Saharanpur late on Sunday night. The encounter took place on Sarsawa-Nakur road. Lalan was seriously injured in the firing between the police team and the miscreants. When taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. First case: According to the case registered on March 16, 2016 at Bind police station in Nalanda district of Bihar, Lallan Singh alias Lallan, along with his brothers and other members of his criminal gang, attacked the ASI on this day. In Nalanda, ASI Bhuvaneshwar Singh was shot and injured and his official revolver was looted.
Second case: In the case registered on 18 April 2016 in Barh police station of Patna district, Lallan Singh shot dead ASI Suresh Thakur in the area and looted his official pistol.
Third case: In the case registered on 24 September 2016 in Fatuha police station of Patna district, on this day Lallan Singh shot dead ASI RR Chaudhary and looted his official pistol.
Fourth case: In the case registered on 27 February 2017 at Sohsarai police station in Nalanda district, Lallan Singh is accused of double murder along with robbery. On 27 February 2017, a cash van was attacked in Sohsarai police station area and guard Brijanandan Prasad Singh and cashier Ranjit Kumar were killed. Looted Rs 20 lakh from the van.
Fifth case: In the case registered on March 6, 2017 in Belchhi police station of Patna district, Lallan is accused of triple murder along with robbery. According to the case registered, Lallan Singh alias Lallan, along with his brothers and other members of his criminal gang, targeted the employees who had come out of the PNB main branch in Belchhi with cash. The accused fired indiscriminately right in front of the bank at around 12:30 pm and killed bank security guards Suresh Singh and Yogeshwar Das and cash van driver Ajit Yadav. After the incident, they looted cash worth Rs 60 lakh and fled.
Sixth case: A case was registered under Section 307 of the Arms Act and IPC on 29 March 2017 at Barh police station in Patna district.
Seventh case: A case has been registered against Lallan under section 224/34 of IPC on 8 September 2022 in Barh police station of Patna district.

Lallan Singh’s encounter took place on the night of 21-22 June. Actually, the police team under the leadership of ASP Lal Pratap Singh was conducting a checking operation on the Sarsawa-Nakur road. During this time, the police got information about the activity of miscreants. The police laid siege to catch the criminals. After this the miscreants started firing on the police. In retaliation, Lalan Singh was injured by the bullet. Meanwhile, one of his companions escaped from the spot.
The police immediately brought the injured criminal to the Community Health Center, Sarsawa. After first aid there, Lallan was referred to Saharanpur District Hospital. On reaching the district hospital, doctors declared him dead.
