There is a major update for the lakhs of students who appeared for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the exam. Students can verify their answers against this key. Here is how candidates can easily download the answer key.
The NTA has made the CUET UG 2026 final answer key available on the official website. The final result will be prepared based on this answer key. The NTA stated that no further changes will be made to it. Students who took the exam can download the answer key online. More than 15 lakh students appeared for the exam this year.
Students can estimate their marks using this answer key. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be added or deducted for unanswered questions.

This year, the CUET UG exam was conducted in multiple phases. The exam was held in offline mode during May and June. The provisional answer key was released earlier, and the final answer key has now been issued following the resolution of objections. The CUET UG exam this year covered 37 subjects, 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and a general aptitude test. The exam was conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.

The final result will be declared after the release of the final answer key. Once the result is announced, students will be able to download their scorecards using their application number and password. Subsequently, students can apply for admission to various universities based on their scores.
