A shocking road accident occurred early Sunday morning on the Mumbai-Vadodara Highway near Badlapur. A luxury BMW car lost control and crashed into the divider, resulting in the vehicle being completely destroyed. Tragically, two individuals died at the scene. Authorities have filed a case against the driver for reckless driving.

According to the Badlapur West police station, the incident took place around 2:39 AM on June 21. Emergency services and police arrived promptly after receiving reports of the crash.

Witnesses described the accident as horrific, with the luxury BMW reduced to debris. Parts of the car and its tires were scattered across the highway, and videos and images from the scene reveal the devastating condition of the vehicle.
Speeding and Traffic Violations
Initial investigations revealed alarming details about the crash. Senior Police Inspector Kishore Shinde stated that the car was traveling at approximately 250 kilometers per hour at the time of the accident.
Loss of Control and Legal Action
There were three occupants in the car, including the driver. Due to the excessive speed, the driver lost control, leading to the collision with the highway divider. The police have taken a firm stance, filing charges against the driver, Angad Gill, for severe traffic violations and causing death through negligence.

Authorities are currently collecting forensic evidence from the accident site and recording witness statements. The Badlapur police have indicated that further legal action against the driver will be determined based on the comprehensive investigation report and findings.
